| How does the account opening process work ? |

| On receipt of your online request we will complete a brief electronic Alliance + Leicester (A + L) form which is submitted to A + L for processing, they will contact directly via telephone to confirm a few details, which will allow them to determine whether they are able to verify your ID (confirm you live at the address stated), if verified you will receive a mandate through the post for signing and returning in the prepaid envelope back to A+L, if they are unable to verify you over the phone, they will send you the mandate for signing and ask you to drop it off at your local A+L with proof of your ID. A few days later you will receive your account details. |
