How it works
Assuming your Company has been registered through another agent or you are a soletrader the following procedure would generally take place (note if Foersters have registered your company the orderform and registration is completed at the same time otherwise the process is much the same).
Following receipt of our simple online bank account application form your HSBC Bank PLC Business Manager will call to advise of your account approval and arrange for you to drop your ID into a local branch at a time and date to suit you, he/she will instruct you as to what ID you need to bring along.
Your Local Business Manager will have all your personal and company details HSBC need to provide you with your account details following receipt of your verified ID, any other additional documents they might require can be produced at the local branch.
Remember we will never charge you a fee for this service, you have no paper forms to complete, no business plan to prepare, no opening balance and you choose your preferred branch to ID yourself, simply supply us with your details and we will do the rest.

Please supply 1 from each of the following ID
Picture Identification
- Passport
- Full drivers licence (Photo Licence)
- European union national ID card
Confirmation of Residence
- Utility bill – no older than 3 months
- Bank statement - no older than 3 months
- Council tax bill – present year only
- Full drivers licence if not already used as your ID
Other Documents if trading company or your Company has not been registered by Foersters:
- Company Accounts (if filed)
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Incorporation Certificate
- Letterhead (soletraders)
All documentation MUST be addressed to the person presenting the documentation. |
